Narrower Upper-Tier Cutting Boards

We're trying out narrower upper-tier cutting boards for the 4' Mini! This way, three boards will cover the entire Galley for maximum use of counter space.  And using just one board is a good width in proportion to the 4' Galley.  Check out more of the Galley Accessories that are available by clicking here.

Arthur's BBQ Recipe

Arthur's BBQ Sauce:

4 tbsp. pickling spice
1/2 cup red pepper flakes
1/2 onion finely chopped
 1/2 clove garlic minced
.
 1 cup vinegar
4 tbsp. salt
1 cup worcestershire
3 tbsp. tomato sauce
1 cup sugar
1 stick non-salt butter.
10 oz.corn starch..*see note below.
..
step 1: put pickling spices, red pepper flakes, garlic & onion
in 1 qt. pan, add enough water to allow for boiling 1 inch from
top. boil approx. 5-6 minutes
.
step 2: while other pan is boiling add remaining ingredients
(except starch) in 5.5 qt. pan and add water to within 2 inches
from top. Pour 1st pot thru strainer into 2nd pot. Bring to a boil
for 15 minutes then reduce to medium heat, stir in corn starch
for approx. 3 minutes, let it cool and then you can refrigerate,
will last a long time. Makes1 gallon

*Cornstarch: It needs to be mixed completely with cold water before
being added to boiling liquid, and once added, it needs to be cooked only
until the liquid has thickened. If you cook it too long, it will break down
and the liquid will lose its thickness.

NOW We're Cooking! New Galley Kitchen

Look at the difference between the before & after! The old refrigerator wall was removed to gain space for a family-size island with a 5 1/2' Galley and a 4-burner induction cook top. Now two or more cooks can work at the sink at one time, while others sit comfortably at the seating side of the island. Generous storage in the island holds everything they need to work at The Galley.
