Making The Galley Work For You

A new 4' Mini Galley owner came in yesterday and purchased 2 Galley Dividers. She told us how excited she was to use them for parties... One to hold ice and keep wine chilled, and the other to ice shrimp while leaving the middle section of the sink open for use. Brilliant!

Bath Time at the Galley

What a great idea! No more kneeling at the bath tub to bathe the kiddos. Everything's comfortably in reach, too!

People continue to find creative ways to use their Galleys in every day life.

The pullout spray helps rinse the child off without making a big mess. How easy!

A New Galley Kitchen... Style + Function = Wow!

This newly completed kitchen with a 5 1/2' Undermount Galley paints a beautiful picture of style and function!

This kitchen is our version of the perfect family room.  Prep food at the Galley while the kids do homework at the peninsula.  Where else would you want to be, especially with the TV right there?

5 ½’ undermount Galley with a Galley rack

The Galley is set up, ready to go... along with plenty of storage beneath,
and double gas and induction cooktops side by side.

Complete kitchen work station.  The Galley Rack holds large
bowls and pots, while providing light for the Galley below.

Cutting boards, drain rack, and colanders are ready and waiting there for daily use.

Two upper-tier cutting boards are added to create more counter space next to the
cooktops, and there’s still a large portion of the sink available to use.

Double gas and induction cook tops are located right next to the Galley.

The island is a natural landing spot for items from the fridge. Makes it easy to take them from the island to the microwave, or to the clean up sink, or straight to the Galley to prep or cook on the gas & induction cook tops.

This kitchen is a beautiful picture of function.  No matter the task at hand, it’s easy to do here.

Convection oven is located in the island.

Pull out double trash in the island, right behind the Galley.

Main dishwasher with a single-drawer dishwasher to the right of it.

This kitchen screams function! The refrigerator, microwave, clean up sink,
full dishwasher and single-drawer dishwasher are all grouped together. All of these items
here work smoothly in conjunction with the Galley.

Seating area of the peninsula.  There is extra storage below the counter on this side.

As shown here, there is plenty of room to work behind the Galley, or at the center island. Lots of room but everything is still close enough to reach without having to run all over the place!

Deer Meat at the Galley

This Galley's owner sent us a snapshot of grinding up deer meat for chili last night. She hunts daily, and her Galley has become a HUGE asset to her. She noted, "I'm able to butcher and wrap a deer in just over one hour! It turns into the coolest wrap station in the blink of an eye. This sink is great, thank you for making my life so much easier... I am a true fan of the Galley sink!"

Galley News: Testimonial of a Galley client!

To my engineering mind, I immediately recognized the perfect function of the Galley.  It consolidates several actions into one, therefore being highly efficient.  But my wife didn't see it that way, her comment was that it looked to her like a big trough, and would be out of place in our kitchen.  Roger heard her, so did not even mention the Galley to us for our remodel project.  But after two or three meetings with him, in which he introduced us to and sold us on induction cooking, she couldn't help but see the videos of the Galley that were playing in the background.

Long story short, she now wants a Galley.  I quizzed her, though, when she gave me that news.  I asked her, "Do you say that because you saw the videos and are sold because of them, or, can you envision yourself at the Galley, cooking the things that you would normally cook?"  She said she now sees herself with a Galley, and that she wishes it could be here tomorrow!
